Women with ASD and parents of girls with ASD sometimes feel lost with a male-dominated diagnosis. In response, the Orange County Asperger’s Support Group (OCASG) will be holding a women-only discussion group for women (ages 18 and up) who have a diagnosis (or suspected diagnosis) of Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism or PDD-NOS or women who have a daughter dealing with ASD. The group will be led by Asperger’s expert, Dr. Ali Arena.
The first meeting this year will be held on Saturday, June 17 from 10 am to 11:30 noon. Please note that an OCASG Liability Waiver is required. If you have not signed one yet, upon registering, an email will be sent to you with information. Upon confirmation of an executed Liability Waiver, you will be sent login information.

About the Dr. Ali Arena
Dr. Ali Arena has dedicated her education and career to finding the best communication patterns and behavior changes required to navigate the ever-changing social world. She is both a Speech-Language Pathologist and Board Certified Behavior, Analyst. She maintains the following certifications Autism, Trauma-Informed Care, Level 1A Social Thinking Practitioner, UCLA PEERs, and Neurodiverse Couples Counseling. Lastly, her doctorate addressed the dating intricacies of those on the Autism Spectrum which led Ali to develop unique 1:1 couples counseling for neurodiverse partnerships and social skills classes for individuals with social learning differences (including Asperger’s syndrome, high functioning autism, ADD/ADHD, and those without a formal diagnosis but who struggle in the social world).
